US General lauds UPDF role in pacifying Somalia

The Commander of the combined US Joint Task Force in the Horn of Africa has commended Uganda for its role in pacifying Somalia.

 

 

Uganda’s national Army the UPDF forms the bulk of the troops of the African Union peacekeeping mission in Somalia (AMISOM).


Major General Wayne Grigsby was speaking at the Senior Command and Staff College in Kimaka, Jinja.
