Emirati tells court her maids photographed her while she slept

Three maids working in the UAE have been charged after they took photographs of their Emirati boss as she slept, website Emirates 24/7 reported on Tuesday.

One of the women denies the claims made by their boss, who is insisting the three go on trial for an act that was effectively a ‘breach of trust’.

According to reports in the local press one of the maids has confessed that they ‘agreed to take the pictures of their employer’, but said the images had not been used anywhere, the report added.

The case, being heard at a court in the northern Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, has been adjourned until the end of the month.
